Position Summary

e.l.f. Cosmetics is looking for an organized and energetic SEO and Digital Content Intern to join the SEO team remotely. This position will report directly to the Assistant Manager of SEO and Digital Content and will work collaboratively with our SEO Team on a variety of projects to help grow our brand awareness and presence. This individual will help improve our website’s visibility, and drive organic traffic. As an SEO intern, you will learn the foundations of Search Engine Optimization and put that knowledge into practice, with guidance from members of the SEO team. This internship might be perfect for you if you have both SEO and Content experience.

This is a remote internship with our ideal candidate residing on the West Coast.

Responsibilities:

– Assist SEO team in the execution of optimization strategies

– Conduct Keyword research

– On-site optimization

– Content review, optimization, and implementation

– Assist with site clean-up

– Monitor and analyze content performance using SEO tools

– Receive articles from Copywriters to proofread/grammar edits

– Implement ALT text across all PDP/PLP images in Business Manager

Requirements:

-Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program/university

– Available to work 3 days a week, 25-30 hours per week

-Available to commit to a 9-12 month internship throughout the Summer/Fall/Spring Semesters

– Copyright/Editorial/Project Management background preferred

– Knowledge and understanding of search engines and SEO best practices

– Time management skills and a commitment to on time deliverables

– Organization skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks

– Strong communication and collaboration skills

– Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

– Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush
