Creative Design Intern

About the Program: 

The VMG Partners ecosystem of brands stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion. As such, in partnership with their portfolio companies – [solidcore], OVME, Milton’s Craft Bakers, Swell, Shogun – 10 interns from colleges across the country will partake in an 10-week internship program in which they will participate in on-the-job training across a range of functions, as well as engage in panels, workshops, and more. To ultimately, equip them with skills and a network to start a career within consumer/services/retail and tech industries, whether as an entrepreneur, an operator or beyond.

OVME is looking for a talented Creative Design intern to join their team! OVME is the Medical Aesthetics Studio Designed for Modern Life — a company known for its commitment for outcomes-driven results for our clients while maintaining an unwavering commitment to transparency, business ethics, and giving back. They are on the lookout for like-minded misfits who embody the things that have always made OVME special.

Timing:

10 weeks (Late May – Late July)

Responsibilities:

The Creative Design intern will work on projects focused on helping the design and content teams to create beautiful, thoughtful and brand-driven assets. This individual will have the opportunity to grow his/her skills and knowledge in the design and content creation fields while working in a fast-paced, exciting industry. 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Organizing, tagging, and naming design files such as photos and media assets.
  • Creating graphic design assets for digital and print outputs
  • Assist with marketing campaigns for website, email, and social media
  • Assist with marketing content execution in the formats of design, writing, and motion. 

Experience and interests:

  • Loves to be in-the-know on design and digital trends
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook
  • Must be self-sufficient and motivated to deliver tasks independently 
  • Must be a self-starter who is resourceful
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (even if very basic)
  • Motion Media or Animation experience is a plus (not necessary)
  • Photography experience is a plus (not necessary)
